1. What we collect
Only what you type into a form or a tool, and only when you press send. That is typically your name, email, an optional phone number, and whatever you tell us about your business and what you are trying to do.
The three tools in the Smart System run entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent anywhere while you are answering them. Nothing is sent until you press a button that says it will be sent.
2. What we do with it
We read it, we reply to you, and — if you ask for an introduction — we pass a brief to a broker in the Advance Network. We tell you who that is before they contact you.
We do not sell your details. We do not pass them to lenders. We do not add you to a marketing list unless you have asked to be on one.
3. Where it is stored
Submissions are stored in Google Workspace (Google Sheets and Gmail), and emails are sent through Google’s mail servers. Google processes data outside Australia, including in the United States.
4. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for two years from your last contact with us, so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. After that they are deleted. If a broker introduction was made we keep a record of the introduction itself for seven years, because that is the period we may need it for tax and dispute purposes.
You can ask us to delete your details at any time, and we will do it within 30 days unless we are legally required to keep them.
5. Access, correction and complaints
Email jovan@smartadvance.com.au to see what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted. We respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with how we handled it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
6. Data breaches
If a breach occurs that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the OAIC as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
7. Cookies and tracking
This site sets no tracking cookies and runs no advertising pixels. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
